I had the grilled salmon teriyaki and green tea cheesecake for dessert and it was really good. This restaurant makes it easy for people who don't regularly eat Japanese food to still find something delicious.

The menu is really diverse and has the flavor of a more upscale Korean-owned Japanese restaurant. Sushi is pretty decent, tastes fine and seems pretty fresh. Ambience inside is fine. As far as Northside-area sushi places go, this is probably one of the better ones.
The big downside is the price tag on everything; this place loses out a bit on bang for buck because everything is far pricier than it needs to be. Would give it 4 stars otherwise. -

This place has been around for 20 years and still manages to not looked dated or worn. Recently I've discovered that Ann, (previously famed from Thai Thai in Ypsilanti) has brought some of her amazing Thai dishes to Saica. The red curry is THE BEST. Thanks Ann for bringing this dish back!

Saica's expanded menu, newly renovated walls (there used to be tacky, smelly banner tarps), and supremely elevated customer service has made this a solid 5star eatery!
We used to be regulars a year or two ago, but haven't been back recently until dinner Friday night...we were so WOW'ed we dinnered here Sat night. Shout out to JAY!!! for providing top service and allowing combo dish substitutions and bringing extras :D
Like many other "Japanese" restaurants in the area, they also have an extensive Korean menu as well. Our dish faves: beef topokki, pork jajang udon, chicken katsu curry, unagi don, soft shell crab, and red/green dragon rolls. -

I would think twice before ordering anything raw from the menu here. After ordering their chirashi, I was sick with severe food poisoning and basically immobile for days. I ended up going to the hospital dehydrated and feverish. Food-borne illnesses are no joke :( Sometimes you can tell when the fish isn't fresh based on its color or smell, but unfortunately that wasn't the case for me. Maybe it was something else that contaminated the dish. My friends have had no problems with other cooked dishes from their menu, and there is ample parking space nearby.
